Hello and welcome to JillArte.com, the website of my artworks.

My name is Jill Evans, originally from Wales, but now living part of the year in Italy and part in France.  I am inspired by the beauty of nature and landscapes, the colours of sunsets and the sea, and these are the subjects I paint most frequently both for my own pleasure and on commission.  My customers often ask me to paint or sketch portraits of family members from photographs to have a lasting memory of a special moment.  Sometimes they also ask for pet portraits, faithful to reality or elaborated with human dress!  I really enjoy doing my best to satisfy all requests and love to see the pleasure and emotion the commissions can evoke.
